Our Programs
Pottery-Work Studio
Our pottery program gives adults with developmental disabilities (our Crew) an outlet for creativity and a way to learn job skills by making and selling products. We assess individual interests and skills in the studio and create modifications for future employment opportunities.
Find us at a local market or shop online; 100% of pottery sales go directly back to our program—helping us remain accessible!
Music
Our music program works on empowering our Crew to express themselves to find their voice, providing important tools for them to identify with our Athens community. Music therapy has proven benefits for improving focus, communication, processing, & self determination.
We have three different music classes each week in addition to our all-abilities band practice, The Love.Craft Band.
Workforce Development
Our workforce development program gives our Crew opportunities for customized employment placements IN the community. We provide support for businesses who hire our Crew so they are educated on how to engage with our Crew and help them be successful. We also facilitate ‘diy businesses’ for our Crew who have goals of being entrepreneurs.
